Nestor's Revenge is a variation of Nestor I invented around 1998. Two Jokers are shuffled into the deck, and pair with each other like a 14th rank. There are nine columns (of six cards each) instead of eight, but no reserve/hold cards at all.
The solver determined the win rates both for rectified and unrectified deals. In addition, I ran tests for a variation with Jokers "wild" (so that the player can choose the rank of the Jokers), which of course increases the win rates considerably.
Joker Type | Rectified? | Games Won | Win Rate % |
---|---|---|---|
14th Rank | Yes | 188,336 | 18.8 |
14th Rank | No | 28,810 | 2.88 |
Wild | Yes | 641,729 | 64.2 |
Wild | No | 206,211 | 20.6 |
