This game has a low win rate: 0.937%, or about 1-in-107. Personally, I prefer games that have a higher win rate than that, especially if it takes as long to play as this game does. I would choose to play it by calling it a win as soon as you reach the first set of discards. This will make the win rate much more reasonable (27.5%), and help speed up the game as well.
